Description
Quick Start Reading
A foundational literacy program for young learners with Down syndrome
Quick Start Reading is a fast-paced, literacy-focused program designed to support early reading development in children with Down syndrome. While the content is drawn from our Learning Program Online Level 1, this series moves at a quicker pace and is ideal for families seeking a short, targeted boost.
Recommended for children in preschool through 1st grade (approximately ages 3–6) or for any learner who needs introductory reading support—including sight word instruction, phonemic awareness, sentence building, and the creation of personalized materials.
While sessions are designed primarily for parents, they are also open to teachers, therapists, and administrators supporting early literacy development.
If you’re unsure whether this program is the right fit, please don’t hesitate to reach out at info@dsfoc.org.
